Rocker Jon Bon Jovi has put his French chateau-inspired New Jersey home on the market for a whopping $20 million (AUD $30 million).
The 18,000-square-foot home on the Navesink River features six bedrooms, limestone flooring and a circular staircase.
The property also includes a carriage house with three additional bedrooms, his ‘Shoe Inn Pub’ and a recording studio.
The home was built in 1999 for Bon Jovi, his wife, Dorothea, and their four children, Stephanie Rose, 26; Jesse, 24; Jacob Hurley, 17; and Romeo Jon, 15. It is located around one hour away from New York City.
The home was quietly listed on the market in 2017, but has recently been listed publicly. It is situated on 15 acres of land and was designed by architect Robert A.M. Stern.
Take a look below.
The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home features a 50-foot living room with 12-foot ceilings and a grand fireplace. There’s also a sweeping staircase to take you to the second floor.
The kitchen features a handcrafted brick-barreled ceiling with hand-painted beams, wide-planked wood floors and alabaster countertops with a large island, state-of-the-art kitchen amenities and a breakfast room that captures the river views.
Upstairs, there are two wings; the family wing and the guest or staff quarters. The family wing consists of four en-suite bedrooms, including the master suite.
The master suite has a balcony with panoramic views overlooking the river, a master bath with a curved steam shower and a free standing soaking tub overlooking the river with alabaster and marble accents.
The outdoor space features a large patio, stone walkways covered by a pergola, beautiful gardens and long stretches of grass lawns.
The heated in-ground pool offers stunning river views, and the pool area has two full cedar bath cabanas and a separate kitchen and laundry room.
